Born in Cuba, Miami based Cantinero, Andy Cabrera is fully dedicated to family, community and creating spectacular hospitality experiences. Andy was a highly creative child, always drawing and expressing himself artistically. He moved to Miami with his parents and younger sister in pursuit of more opportunities and eventually followed in his father’s footsteps by becoming a bartender. As the bar manager of the multi-award-winning, Café La Trova and Founder of The Garnish Hospitality Group, Andy has an incredible knowledge of spirits and now gets to express his creativity through his cocktails.

Café La Trova Founder and Maestro Cantinero, Julio Cabrera is one of the world’s most influential bartenders and the face of the Cantinero movement in the United States. Born into a family of hospitality professionals, Cabrera began his bartending career in Cuba 30 years ago and holds heritage close to the heart of everything he does. Café La Trova is the definitive homage to his homeland and a celebration of tradition, authenticity, and the art of the cocktail, regularly appearing on the ‘World’s 50 Best Bars’ list. In 2019, Julio was awarded the title of ‘American Bartender of the Year’ at Tales of the Cocktail's Spirited Awards as well as ‘Roku Industry Icon’ at North America’s 50 Best Bars in 2023.
